Sandy Mathews
Owner and full time operator Sandy Mathews has been in the travel industry since 1991 when she began working for Whitman County Travel in Colfax, Washington. After owning that agency for 9 years with three other partners, Sandy sold her share of the business and purchased Cascade Travel of Wenatchee, which later evolved into what is now Journey Travel and Tours. Although she specializes in corporate travel, Sandy has extensive experience with organizing and leading group travel as well as arranging family vacations. When asked what she enjoys most about the business she is quick to respond, "definitely the relationships that are made when you work with the public." Judy O'Neil
Judy has been in the travel business since 2003. Not only can she find just the right cruise for you and your family, but can create a package to anywhere you want to go. She has training in many destinations and continues her education thru specialist training and actual travel. Her own travels have brought her all over the globe. Some of those destinations include Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean and Ireland. Two opposite extreme locations are her most recent trip to Iceland and before that - Tahiti! Norma Jean Diaz
I have been in the travel industry since 1998, prior to that I had a 17 year career in banking. The only thing I love as much as my family and traveling is making dreams come true for my clients. I work hard at staying on top of the industry trends. I'm an Elite Cruise Counselor with Cruise Lines International and a certified specialist for Disney, Hawaii and Mexico. I travel often so that I can share first hand experiences. I believe it's very important to know what I sell so that my clients get the best value for their dollar.
Burlene Blankenship - Group Tour Director
I have been in the group tour business since 1999. My greatest pleasure is to share beautiful places all over the world with some of the nicest people in the world. I would like to invite you to join us on one of our upcoming group tours and see just how special a trip can be when shared with new friends. Shari Werner
I worked in the travel industry from 1992 for 6 years at Smokey Point Travel in Arlington where I specialized in both Corporate and Leisure travel. I left the travel industry to pursue a career in retail management and I am happy to be returning to something I love. I have been fortunate enough to travel to many destinations in the world and enjoy assisting others with their travel plans both domestically and internationally.
Gary Mathews
Gary has been associated with the travel industry for the last six years. Prior to his tenure at Journey Travel and Tours, Gary's specialty was in marketing and he is using that expertise to further enhance the service we provide our valued clients. We can thank Gary for the website design and our Facebook page as well as the many other theme weeks and give-a-ways Journey Travel and Tours is able to offer our customers. Gary is getting to be a pro at Amtrak reservations and is wonderful at helping us handle the incoming phone calls and fielding questions regarding travel. Gary is a huge part of our group tours and the Expedition Club.

I have been in the travel industry for just over 3 years now. My position at Journey Travel & Tours is very important. I'm the greeter! If it wasn't for all the travelers coming in I don't know what I would do, I love to have my belly rubbed. I try to not get in the way but like I said I love to have my belly rubbed.
