Can I make complete travel reservations for my boss, including car and hotel, through your office?

Yes, you certainly can. You can book airline, train, car, hotel, cruise and vacation packages all with one phone call to our office. You can make travel arrangements for someone other than yourself. We also can book and arrange cruise for any destination, world-wide.

Can Journey Travel and Tours give me flight status on particular airlines' flight or do I have to call the airline?

We can give you up to date flight status information on any airline which posts this data in the computer. And we don’t have hold times!

Can Journey Travel and Tours book reservations and issue tickets on Southwest Airlines?

Yes we can.

My daughter and three of her friends are going to France next summer. Is it possible to make rail reservations in advance?

Yes it is. Call our office and we will work with you to determine the best rail pass for your daughter. You can pay for the tickets and the passengers will have their tickets before they leave the U.S.

Last year my brother passed away suddenly and I had a horrible time getting a last minute ticket to attend the funeral. Can Journey Travel and Tours set up those kinds of tickets for next day travel?

Yes, with some basic information we can arrange discounted bereavement tickets for our customers.

My family and I take two vacations a year. How would I know I am getting the best value and the best recommendation from your office?

We have over 20 years travel experience here at Journey Travel and Tours. Sandy Mathews, Manager/Owner, has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Russia, Middle East, South Pacific and the Caribbean.

How many items am I allowed to bring on board the aircraft?

Most major airlines allow one carry-on suitcase or backpack and one briefcase or purse type item.

How heavy can my checked luggage weigh?

Most airlines allow one suitcase to weigh up to 50 lbs. If the bag is over 50 lbs. the airline will impose a charge to the passenger. If there is any question, please call us at 509-662-7775 or 877-335-1153 and we will tell you what the specifications are for you specific airline.

Can I bring my shaving supplies with me when I am traveling by air?

Yes, provided razors, scissors and other sharp objects are placed in the luggage to be checked in and not carried on.

I want to meet my husband at the gate where their aircraft arrives. Is this still possible?

No. Gate areas are considered sterile areas. That is to say, only passengers that have been screened at security check points are allowed at the gates. Parents either picking up or dropping off their unaccompanied minors may get a pass at the ticket counter to accompany their children to and from the gate area.

How long before my scheduled departure should I arrive at the airport?

Most airports are requiring you to arrive 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure for domestic flights and up to 3 hours for international flights. If you have any questions, please give us a call and we will be happy to answer them.
